Shark: The Beginning, adapted from the Korean Webtoon entitled 'Shark', details the story of high school student Cha Woo Sol after being placed within an all-boys prison for attacking his school perpetrator, Baek Seok Chan.
In prison, he meets national athlete, Jung Do Hyun, whom teaches Cha Woo Sol to defend himself in order to aid Cha Woo Sol after finding out that Baek Seok Chan is bloodthirsty to take revenge for his injury given to him during Cha Woo Sol's attack.
