I. Introduction

6equence is a mini album by Moonbyul, which was released on January 19, 2022 with LUNATIC serving as the title track.

II. Background

Moonbyul first announced the release of 6equence with the release of the video teaser 6ix on December 3, 2021. This was followed previous hints from her that she was preparing for a solo comeback/project before the end of the year. Before the release of the mini album, she released two pre-release tracks. G999 feat. Mirani was dropped on December 13, and From Head to Toe feat. Seori was dropped on December 30.

After releasing these two pre-release singles, Moonbyul started releasing teasers for 6equence on January 6, 2022. These including a track list, concept photos, and video teasers. The full MV for the title track LUNATIC and the mini album came out on January 19.
