Mokkoji Kitchen is a 2021 South Korean web drama about Moo Young, a chef at a Korean fusion restaurant, his new neighbor Ro In and their sweet and salty romance that blossoms through their shared love of food. It was directed by Im Cho Ye & written by Kim Dong Hyun & starred, B1A4's Gongchan, Nam Kyu Hee, Jeong Soo Hyun, Choi Soo Yoon &, Jin Hye Won. It was aired in South Korea from Sep 6 to Nov 8, 2021.
Furthermore, Mokkoji Kitchen is part of the 2021 Korean Wave Life Culture Hanmadang Mokkoji Korea project organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea International Cultural Exchange Agency. The institute plans to use the web drama to spread Korean culture not only in Russia, India, and Indonesia but around the globe. They will also provide subtitles in Russian, English, and Indonesian.
II. Synopsis
A sweet and salty love recipe drama that revolves around chef Moo Young, who runs a one-person fusion Korean restaurant, and college student Ro In, who knows all the delicious restaurants. The two fatefully become intertwined in each other’s lives and end up sharing food to fill their hearts.
