"When Dawn Comes Again" (또 새벽이 오면) is the seventh digital single from Korean singer, songwriter and rapper Colde. It also features Baekhyun of boy group EXO. It was released on July 21, 2021.
II. Background & Release
After releasing several EPs and singles as part of the kr&b duo offonoff and writing and recording with other artists, Colde released his first solo work in 2018, beginning with his debut solo single "Your Dog Loves You." Colde continues to write his own solo work, including this song, while also writing songs for other artists, including his collaborator on this song.
Baekhyun is one of the main vocalists of EXO, as well as a successful soloist. Colde wrote songs on each of Baekhyun's three previous Korean solo releases: "Diamond" for City Lights, "Love Again" for Delight and "Love Scene" for Bambi. However, this was their first time singing together. Baekhyun prerecorded his vocals before his enlistment in May 2021. This song reflects the stripped back, guitar-focused mellow style that permeates all of Colde's work.
