    I. Introduction

    Regulate is a repackage of the album, Regular-Irregular from the permanent NCT sub-unit, NCT 127. It was released on November 23, 2018 with the lead single "Simon Says."


    Background and Overview

    SM Entertainment announced a repackage of NCT 127's first album Regular-Irregular on November 13, 2018. Member Winwin did not participate in the promotions for Regulate as he was preparing for his move to the new Chinese NCT sub-unit, WayV.


    The album featured the 10 songs from Regular-Irregular, as well as three new songs, "Simon Says," "Welcome to My Playground" and a Korean version of "Chain," which had been previously released in Japanese on NCT 127's Japanese release Chain.

    VI. Reception

    Regulate reached #2 on Korean Gaon Album Charts, #9 on the U.S. Billboard World Charts and #10 on the Japanese Oricon charts. The lead single "Simon Says" became the group's first song to reach #1 on the US Digital Song Sales chart. "Welcome to My Playground" also charted in the US at #7.
