Help! Johnny Marky


  • I. Introduction

    Help! Johnny Marky is a YouTube variety reality series following members Johnny and Mark of the boy group NCT 127 answering questions and solving problems for other NCT members.


    II. Overview

    NCT 127 is a sub-unit of the boy group NCT. The group structure of NCT is unique among K-Pop groups due to the fact that the concept of NCT is an ever expanding group with "unlimited" members and it is comprised of several individual subunits. Currently there are 23 members in NCT, making up four individual subunits, including the fixed sub-unit NCT 127.


    Help! Johnny Marky follows member Johnny and Mark as they help members with questions. The series debuted teaching members English slang as NCT 127 embarked on their first concert tour, Neo City: The Origin in 2019, spanning Asia, Europe, the U.S. and Canada. To support the tour, NCT's YouTube channels posted regular content, including limited time shows and special episodes of ongoing shows.


    The series appears infrequently, including episodes with NCT Dream's Chenle and a lemonade stand to support NCT 127's Favorite album promotions. "Lemonade" is one of the songs on Favorite. The show was rebranded as Open! Johnny Marky for the lemonade promo with the same type treatment.



    Like Johnny's Communication Center, the show is primarily in English.

    III. Episode List

    Each episode is about 10 minutes and were posted to the NCT Daily YouTube channel. The lemonade stand episode was 25 minutes.
