    I. Introduction

    NS Yoon-G (Kim Yoon-ji AKA Christine Kim) is a Korean-American singer and actress in South Korea. Born in Seoul, South Korea on September 6, 1988, she moved to the San Fernando Valley in California in the 4th grade & entered UCLA, majoring in Dance and Communication, then took a leave of absence after a year to pursue her career in entertainment in South Korea, initially joining DSP Media as a trainee. She later debuted with JTM Entertainment, & now currently under VAST Entertainment.

    II. Career

    NS Yoon-G debuted in 2009 with the digital single Head Hurts & recorded the English version of You Make Me Happy for Fresh Pretty Cure!, a Japanese anime around 2009. A year later, 2 of her single albums Ambitious &, Time To Fly High were released. After releasing 2 EPs Neo Spirit &, Skinship in 2012, on November 1, she released a digital single, If You Love Me featuring Jay Park who was occasionally replaced by Dalmatian's Simon. Also in November 01 of the same year, she became the host of K-pop Tasty Road with U-KISS's Eli Kim. NS Yoon-G released 2 more digital singles in 2014, My Romance & A Snowy Day. She was also featured Scarnite's Blast &, Humming Urban Stereo's Insomnia. Honey Summer & Sincerely, were released one year later. In 2021, NS Yoon-G announced she was re-releasing her 2012 single If You Love Me, which would feature Joohoney, replacing Jay Park's original feature on the song.

    V. Trivia

    • The NS in her name initially stood for New Spirit, but was later changed to New Star.
    • Kim used her Korean name as a part of her stage name as she found Christine too difficult for Korean people to pronounce.
    • Her cousin is former Kara member, Kang Ji-young.
    • She's married to her non-celebrity boyfriend in September, 2021.
