Enhypen - Border: Day One


  • Border: Day One is the debut mini album by South Korean boy group Enhypen. It was released by BigHit Entertainment and Be:LIFT Lab on November 30, 2020. It contains six tracks including the title track "Given-Taken".

    I. Background

    Following the finale of I-Land and the finalization of the groups lineup on September 18, 2020, it was announced on September 30 that the group would be releasing their debut album. On October 22, a debut trailer entitled "Choose-Chosen" was posted to the group's YouTube channel announcing their official debut in November. Pre-orders for the album began on October 28.

    On November 4, it was announced that pre-orders had surpasses 150,000 copes in two days. The album debuted at number one on the Gaon Weekly Album chart. In Japan it debuted at number 2 on both the Oricon Album chart and Billboard Japan's Hot Albums chart.


    It has sold more than 300,000 copies since it's release and has been certified Platinum by the KMCA.


    "Given-Taken" was named one of Dazed's 40 Best K-Pop Songs of 2020 and was included on Buzzfeed's 35 Songs That Helped Define K-Pop in 2020.
