  • I. Get To Know Dahyun

    Dahyun (다현) also know as Dubu (tofu) is a K-pop singer, rapper and songwriter. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice formed by JYP Entertainment.


    Dahyun’s Journey


    Dahyun first gained attention as a sixth-grader in elementary school with a dance at church named the "eagle dance" which was posted on YouTube.


    She was recruited to become a trainee for JYP Entertainment after a talent scout saw her performance at a dance festival, and trained with them for over three years.


    In 2015, Dahyun was a contestant on the TV Show Sixteen in order to become a member of JYP's upcoming girl group. Out of the sixteen contestants, Dahyun was selected as one of the nine members of the newly formed girl group. She debuted with Twice in October 2015 with the title song "Like Ooh-Ahh" from their debut album, The Story Begins.


    TWICE went on to be one of the pillars in K-pop and the Nation's Girl Group.
