Set in the 20th century, in the year 1999, Na Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jung), a seventeen-year-old high school student, has a best friend, Yeon-du (Roh Yoon-seo) who has been readying herself for traveling to the United States for heart surgery, all of a sudden says that she cannot leave the country because she is in love with a man from the school who she knows as Baek Hyun-jin (Park Jung-woo). Eventually, Na Bo-ra promises that she would spy on the boy, thus creating a love triangle.
