  • I. Introduction

    The Christmas Gift from TVXQ is the first EP and Christmas EP by South Korean boy group TVXQ, released on December 6, 2004.


    II. Background & Release

    The EP features Korean and English versions of popular Christmas songs. The lead single "Magic Castle," a remake of 1994 song "Mabeopui Seong (Magic Castle)," was released the same day as the album. The music video includes a pre-debut appearance of Yoona, who would later join Girls' Generation.

    VI. Reception

    The EP sold 68,888 copies its first month of release, according to the Music Industry Association of Korea (MIAK). The EP re-entered the charts in 2010, reaching #6 on the Gaon Charts in 2010.
